Faroe given nod for Brasse appraisal

Faroe Petroleum has been given Norwegian Petroleum Directorate approval to drill appraisal well 31/7-2 S on the Brasse discovery.

Well 31/7-2 S will be drilled using the Deepsea Bergen semisubmersible drilling rig in production license 740.

Faroe Petroleum is the operator with 50% interest, with partner Core Energy holding 50%.

Production license 740 was awarded in APA 2013. This is the third well to be drilled in the license.
