FairfieldNodal will launch its inaugural ZXPLR survey this month in the Gulf of Mexico.

FairfieldNodal’s ZXPLR data acquisition system is the next evolution in its Z Technology portfolio, with significant improvements in productivity, according to the company.

“The revolutionary new system will provide a safer and more efficient acquisition experience for customers, delivering the same repeatable, high-quality seismic data and overall lower total cost of ownership.  This will enable operators to make better decisions and allow them to unlock the exploration and development potential of their investments,” FairfieldNodal said in a statement.

“We are recognized as a market leader in seismic data acquisition, a position built on an established track record, the proven performance of our Z Technology and acquisition services,” Charles (Chuck) Davison, president and CEO, FairfieldNodal said.  “We are continuing to make significant investments in new products and service offerings and are always looking for ways to improve and differentiate ourselves in the marketplace.”

This project is scheduled to last two months.
