L&T inks ONGC Daman project

Larson & Toubro subsidiary L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering has won an offshore contract for the transportation and installation on ONGC's Daman development project.

The contract, worth about US$177 million, covers engineering, procurement, construction installation and commissioning for the project. 

The project, part of ONGC’s strategy to extract gas from Daman field, is situated in the south western part of Tapti - Daman block in Mumbai Offshore, about 160-200km north west from Mumbai city and 160km west of Daman.
