OMV to drill Hades & Iris

OMV Norge is expected to start drilling on the Hades & Iris prospect in production licence 644 in the Norwegian Sea early next month (December) following approval from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for well 6506/11-10. 

Drilling, in 342n water depth, is expected to take about 142 days, using the Deepsea Bergen semisubmersible drilling rig, an Aker H-3.2 type, built at Aker Verdal in 1983, owned and operated by Odfjell Drilling.
