Engineering company Monadelphous Group has secured a five-year US$453 million (AUS $600 million) deal with Woodside Energy for the provision of gas asset general maintenance services and brownfields offshore implementation for Woodside-operated gas production facilities in the north west of Western Australia.

The contract, which is for an initial period of five years with a further two one-year extension options, includes maintenance, shutdown services and offshore brownfields implementation for Woodside’s Karratha Gas Plant, Pluto LNG, North Rankin Complex, Goodwyn A platform and Angel platform.

Monadelphous Managing Director Rob Velletri said the contract is a significant strategic award, further demonstrating the leadership position of the Company in the provision of onshore and offshore maintenance services for gas production facilities in Australia.

“We have a long history of delivering on our promises to customers, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety, and implementing innovative solutions that deliver continual improvements in productivity,” he said. “It’s pleasing to see our work in these areas recognized by Woodside with the award of a new, expanded contract which includes a significant portion of their offshore gas production facilities in the north west of Western Australia, in addition to the onshore maintenance services we currently provide.”
