Denmark's petroleum giant Total E&P Danmark has extended the charter contract for the platform supply vessel (PSV) Havila Herøy for a period of 9 months with 3 optional periods each of one month.

Havila Herøy has been working for Total E&P Danmark (former Mærsk Olie & Gas) since she was delivered to the company early December 2009, it said.

Havila Shipping operates 22 vessels; platform supply vessel, anchor handling tug supply vessel, rescue- and recovery vessel and subsea construction vessel. The company has a newbuilding program of 5 vessels.
