Motive Offshore Wins Spooling & Inspection Work

Marine equipment fabrication and rental company Motive Offshore Group said its spooling and inspection division has secured a contract from TechnipFMC to provide global offshore inspection and wire rope services. The initial three-year contract includes the option for two one-year extensions.

Motive Offshore Group Chief Operating Officer, James Gregg said, “Working across 16 vessels world wide during this contract, our existing Spooling and Inspection team is now set to increase, with at least eight additional roles being created.”

Division Managing Director, Ally Forbes said, “This contract reflects not only our expert inspection and wire rope services, but also our fundamental aim to continually internationalize our business.”
