Seadrill has secured a one-year contract with LLOG for the West Neptune operating in the US Gulf of Mexico, the offshore drilling contractor announced on Monday.

Total contract value is expected to be approximately $74 million with commencement in December 2019, in direct continuation of the existing contract with LLOG.

West Neptune is a 2014-built, sixth-generation ultra-deepwater drillship.
