Axxis Hires Havila Vessel

The offshore service vessels operator Havila Shipping said that it has entered into charter contract with Axxis Geo Solution AS, an ocean bottom node seismic company, for the platform supply vessel (PSV) Havila Aurora.

The Norwegean operator of a number of vessels, including platform supply vessels, anchor handling tug supply vessels, and rescue and recovery vessels said in a press note that the contract is for a firm period of 6 months with 4 optional periods of 3 months thereafter.

Commencement will be in May 2018, it said.

Axxis Geo Solutions also handed Havila a contract extension for the Havila Fortune PSV. The contract has been extended by 6 months from June. The extension also has four additional three-month options.

Both Havila Aurora and Havila Fortune were built in 2009 and currently sailing under the flag of Bahamas.
