Viatran Corp. announced the opening of their new Southwest Calibration Center in Houston, Texas. Now owners of Viatran Hammer Union Pressure Sensors in the southwestern states can receive true OEM calibrations and certifications closer to their place of business.

Calibration and recertification of Viatran Hammer Union Pressure Transmitters helps ensure peak product performance and reliability, while servicing sensors closer to the businesses that use them saves on transit time and shipping costs.

"We've invested in this new calibration center so customers in the Southwest can receive our calibration and certification service with the shortest turnaround time possible," said Paul Corbelli, product manager at Viatran. "Houston is just the first in a line of planned calibration centers demonstrating our ongoing efforts to have local presence for our customers. We strive to meet our customers' demands and supplement our services capabilities the best we can."

Viatran team members work closely with the center to ensure they deliver quality Viatran calibration services using the same equipment, methods, and processes used at the company's main Wheatfield, New York facility.
