The contract involves operational management, administration and execution support of Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) for the Gjøa sealines system, subsea production system, hull and mooring systems.

The scope of the agreement is four years, and has options for extending the contract period for two periods of two years each.

Managing Director in IKM Ocean Design, Peder Hoås, said that the contract is strategically important for IKM Ocean Design as the subsea integrity management market is projected to increase in the future. This contract confirms IKM Ocean Design’s position in the subsea engineering industry all the way from early phase development to servicing assets in operation.
