The compact survey vessel is capable of undertaking a wide range of survey, monitoring and inspection operations.

Fugro Proteus is designed for geophysical survey, light geotechnical work and environmental baseline surveys. At a length of 53m, the vessel is capable of moon pool deployments and has diesel electric propulsion for economy at all speeds, Damen said.

Each of the three new FOCSVs will be operating in different global regions and have been specifically adapted for the individual environments in which they will work.
