Hyperdynamics names Guinea country manager

Hyperdynamics Corporationannounced today that Tullow Guinea Ltd., has appointed Gilbert Yevi as its country manager for Guinea. Yevi previously served a leading role in the success of Tullow's Jubilee Field in Ghana.

The Consortium, through Tullow, is also donating $200,000 to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to support humanitarian relief efforts in Guinea as it fights the Ebola virus.  Tullow donated US$100,000 and Dana Petroleum and Hyperdynamics subsidiary SCS each donated US$50,000.

"The donation - along with Tullow's recent appointment of Gilbert Yevi - also underscores the Consortium's commitment to Guinea and the upcoming deepwater exploration efforts," said Ray LeonardHyperdynamics President and Chief Executive Officer. 

The members of the consortium and their participating interests in the concession from the Government of Guinea granting exploration rights offshore Guinea are Tullow - 40%, and the operator; Hyperdynamics' subsidiary, SCS Corp. - 37%; and Dana Petroleum Ltd. - 23%.
