FMC Technologies gets Total subsea Edradour, Glenlivet work

FMC Technologies, Inc. received an order from Total to supply subsea systems for its Edradour and Glenlivet fields offshore in the West of Shetland area.

FMC Technologies' scope of supply consists of subsea equipment including manifolds and associated connections and controls equipment, wellhead systems, subsea tie back connection equipment and a subsea production tree.

In July, Total, with partner DONG, launched the development of the Edradour gas field in the West of Shetland area. In addition, the duo acquired a 60% interest in the neighboring Glenlivet discovery.

Total operates the Edradour discovery with a 75% interest with DONG E&P (UK) Ltd. (25%). Following Total’s entry into Glenlivet with a 60% interest, DONG retained a 20% interest along with Faroe Petroleum (UK) Ltd. and First Oil Expro Ltd., each holding 10%.
