Aqualis wins three contracts

Aqualis Offshore, part of Oslo’s Aqualis, recently won three contracts from different companies for several services.

ONGC awarded Aqualis Offshore with a nine month contract to provide rig moving and marine warranty services offshore India. The contract comes with options to renew for further 12-month periods.

In the second contract, Aqualis Offshore will provide detailed engineering for the conversion of two jackup rigs into mobile offshore production units (MOPU). This contract is for an undisclosed client and will be handled by both the Dubai and Houston offices.

The third contract is an annual call-out contract between Aqualis Offshore’s Abu Dhabi office and Total ABK for work at the Abu Al Bukhoosh field in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Scope of work includes marine inspections, rig moving and general marine services.

In September, Aqualis Offshore announced it will provide offshore rig moving services over the next three years for Saudi Aramco’s jackup rigs operating in the Arabian Gulf.
