Farstad sells, delivers two vessels

Farstad Shipping has recently sold and delivered two vessels.

The PSV Lady Grete was sold on behalf of Farstad Shipping’s Singapore subsidiary, and delivered to the new owner on 29 February 2016.

The AHTS Far Sea was sold through Farstad Supply, a Farstad Shipping subsidiary, and delivered to the new owner on 3 March 2016.

The sale of the vessels gave a book loss of US$11.1 million (NOK 95 million), whereof $10.5 million (NOK 90 million) is booked as impairment in the Q4 2015 accounts.  

After the sale of Lady Grete and Far Sea, Farstad Shipping’s fleet consists of 57 vessels (29 AHTS, 22 PSV and six subsea) and one subsea vessel under construction.
