Nefertiti approved

The Egyptian government approved Dana Petroleum’s development plan for the Nefertiti oil field in the Gulf of Suez following a successful appraisal at the Nefertiti2X well. Dana says the field is the first it developed by drilling extended reach wells from an onshore location. Dana and partner Inpex expect the Nefertiti2X well to produce 2500b/d when the field comes onstream this summer.
