Providence Resources CEO Steps Down

Providence Resources chief executive officer Tony O’Reilly has stepped down from his position and resigned from the board with immediate effect to pursue outside opportunities, the Irish-based energy company announced.

The company's board has initiated a process to identify and recruit a new CEO, Providence said.

Pat Plunkett, Chairman will assume executive functions on a temporary basis, and O’Reilly has agreed to work with the board until the end of January 2020 to ensure an orderly transfer of his responsibilities.
