Neptune Promotes Jones

Neptune Energy said it has appointed Pete Jones as VP of Operations for Europe.

Jones, who previously served as UK Managing Director, joined Neptune in August 2018 and has overseen the growth of the UK business, including the sanctioning and development of its Seagull project, which is due for first production in 2021.

Bruce Webb, VP of Operations, will leave the business, and Philip Lafeber will join the executive management team in his current role as VP of Operations for North Africa and Asia Pacific.

Jones and Lafeber will report to Jim House, CEO of Neptune.

“By splitting the global operations role, we will bring enhanced focus on our key regions at an important time for the business that will see us delivering an extra 100,000 boepd in the coming years.” House said.

Neptune said it is in the process for appointing a new Managing Director for the UK. In the interim, Jones will continue to oversee operations in the country.
