Subsea testing tools manufacturer C-Kore Systems says it has deployed its 200th subsea testing unit during an umbilical installation operation off the coast of Australia.
C-Kore’s Subsea Testing units have gained worldwide acceptance with both oil and gas oper- ators and contractors for construction campaigns, fault-finding operations, and with the release of the new Sensor Monitor unit, decommissioning projects.
The C-Kore Cable Monitor units save customers significant time and money by providing quick and accurate readings on the insulation resistance and continuity of electrical lines, the manufacturer says. The Subsea TDR unit can localize a fault with an accuracy of 10cm, and the Sensor Monitor can read well-head sensors directly, without a controls package.
C-Kore reports its customer base has grown to more than 35 clients in a few short years. Greg Smith, General Manager for C-Kore commented, "We pride ourselves in working closely with our customers to really make the subsea testing process simple.
