Aker Solutions Eyeing Acquisitions

Monday, February 11, 2019

Oil services firm Aker Solutions is considering whether to make acquisitions to boost its business, Chief Executive Luis Araujo told Reuters.

"We are confident that we can go alone, but if opportunities appear to bring more value to our shareholders we will consider that," Araujo said on the sidelines of the Norwegian company's fourth-quarter earnings presentation on Friday.

"Now when the market is picking up, there might be more consolidation," he added.
