Marine Well Containment Company (MWCC) selected Mobile, Alabama, as the shore base location to house its subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) equipment. “Should our SURF equipment be needed to respond to a well control incident in the deepwater US Gulf of Mexico, we know that we have the right support in place to respond safely and effectively,” says MWCC CEO Marty Massey.
