Shell to develop Stones project

Royal Dutch Shell plc will develop the Stones ultradeepwater project in 9,500ft of water, about 200mi southwest of New Orleans. Development will start with two subsea wells tied back to an FPSO, followed by six additional wells. This first phase is expected to reach peak production of 50,000 boe/d.
