Lundin appoints new Malaysia GM

Lundin Petroleum AB appointed Paul Atkinson as general manager for Malaysia and managing director for Lundin Petroleum's southeast Asia business.

Atkinson is joining Lundin Petroleum from Talisman Energy, where he has held various senior managerial positions since 2001, most recently holding the position of vice president and general manager for Australia and Papua New Guinea. Prior to joining Talisman Energy, Atkinson held various positions in Lundin Petroleum's predecessor companies, including operations manager in Malaysia for Lundin Oil.

Atkinson will commence his position in early February 2014 and will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
