Noreco names new CFO

Tommy Sundt has been appointed CFO of Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco). He will join the company on 2 September 2014.

In his previous position, Sundt has served as CFO for Oslo-based Rocksource ASA, an exploration and production company, for 10 years. Rocksource announced Sundt's departure on 29 January as part of a restructuring.

Sundt has also held positions in companies dealing with business development, entrepreneurial activities and investments. Early in his career, he was an auditor.

Noreco announced the resignation of current CFO Ørjan Gjerde on 3 June. The company said Gjerde would evacuate the position by 31 August.
