Robert Potter appointed president of FMC Technologies

Robert Potter has been appointed president of FMC Technologies. Previously EVP energy systems, he takes over this role from John Gremp, who remains chairman and CEO. FMC also has appointed Douglas Pferdehirt as EVP and COO, assuming responsibility for the company’s three operating business segments. Pferdehirt was with Schlumberger for 26 years, holding a number of leadership positions including EVP corporate development and president of the reservoir production group.
