Mozambique 5th licensing round deadline extended

The deadline to apply in Mozambique’s fifth licensing round has been extended to 30 April 2015.

The Institute of National Petroleum (INP), on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Mozambique, announced the extension for the competiive bidding round to explore for hydrocarbons in the offshore Rovuma, offshore Zambezi and Angoche and onshore around the Pande-Temane concession and Palmeira.

A total of 15 blocks are included comprising some 76,800sq km of acreage.

The original deadline was set for 20 January 2015.
