IKM Elektro and ENI Norge have signed a service contract for overhaul and repair of electric motors, generators and heaters on Goliat platform in the Barents Sea.

The three-year contract has an option of 2+2 years and will be performed as an integrated operations project.

IKM Elektro and ENI Norge will work closely to set maintenance strategies and execute the overall maintenance program for motors and heaters. Both companies expect that the contract will utilize local personnel and IKM Elektro will use the already established IKM  facilities in Hammerfest as the operational hub.  As much work as possible will be executed in Hammerfest and employment of additional local staff will be addressed shortly.
