UK-based energy services company Proserv has secured a £1.6 million plus contract to provide topside control equipment at one of the largest field discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The agreement will see Proserv supplying Aibel, on behalf of Statoil, with a hydraulic power unit (HPU) and three chemical injection panels to be used on the Johan Sverdrup development’s drilling platform.

The work is due for completion by June 2016 and the HPU will be delivered with remote controlled cleaning system for hydraulic oil.
Proserv’s chemical injection panels will service a total of 80 injection lines. The panels allow for each line to be remotely operated and monitored for flowrate and pressure.
