Visuray shows VR90

In this video, Visuray shows its VR90 tool, which uses X-ray technology to visualize in detail downhole hardware and borehole objects.

The improved visibility allows oil companies to plan well interventions that address these issues precisely and efficiently, the company says.

Visuray’s technology includes digital X-ray detectors, X-ray source, high voltage generator, and X-ray backscatter imaging. 

This month, the company announced its first commercial application of their X-ray wireline technology for downhole imaging in wells filled with opaque fluid.
