Bell Geospace’s Houston team is being expanded in response to increased activity in their specialist services.  As well as a number of in-house support staff, Richard Alan Morgan has joined the company as senior geoscientist.

Morgan has 12 years’ international experience on integrating interpretation of potential fields and seismic data in many of the world’s major sedimentary basins. He most recently worked with Chevron Energy Technology Co. where he worked on the application of advanced technologies to identify YTF Petroleum systems.  His experience includes depth imaging of 3D seismic data in challenging areas and exposure to major sedimentary basins within North America and around the world.

Prior to Chevron, Morgan worked with Fugro Gravity and Magnetic Services, where he had the opportunity to develop his project management skills and worked with multiple clients on major geophysical projects which included a case history involving the usage of Airborne Gravity Gradiometry for hydrocarbon exploration.

Morgan holds an MSc in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and brings his vast geological and geophysical experience to strengthen the Bell Geospace team.
