Norway's Sevan Marine is to do further work around a possible floating LNG (FLNG) development using its cylindrical vessel concept for a US oil major.

The work follows a paid FLNG feasibility study for the use of the Sevan cylindrical hull for a specific FLNG development.

The study is expected to generate approximately 9000 hours of paid engineering work through 2016.
