Block Zero partners start Mafumeira Sul EPS

Sonangol and its Block Zero partners Cabinda Gulf Oil Co., Total E & P Angola, and Eni Angola, started the early production system (EPS) operations at the South Wellhead Platform of the Mafumeira Sul project, off the Coast of Malongo, in the province of Cabinda on 31 October.

Mafumeira Sul is about 24km off the coast of Malongo at 60m water depth. 

While creating the conditions for the full operation of the project in the coming months, EPS will operate with a maximum production capacity of 10,000 b/d.
