AGR has been awarded a frame agreement to deliver well and drilling engineering advice to the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) to support evaluation of drilling programs, well design and testing, completions and plugging and abandoning.

The two-year scope of work has the option to be extended for an additional two years for the provision of technical training and technological solutions for data management.

“We’re honored to be supporting the Norwegian Government in an official capacity and we look forward to supporting its important work to manage Norway’s hydrocarbon resources,” said Tore Øian, vice president of AGR’s well management business in Norway.

The NDP agreement follows several awards to support major operators on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, as well as an additional agreement with the NPD.
