John Stobart named EVP and COO at Transocean

John Stobart has been named EVP and COO at Transocean. He has been worldwide drilling manager for BHP Billiton Petroleum since 1994, serving in Australia, the UK and latterly Houston. Transocean has also appointed Ihab Toma as its EVP, chief of staff.
