New Gullfaks reserves

Statoil and Petoro have proven additional resources in the Shetland Group/Lista formation in the Gullfaks licence. Production well 34/10-A-8 on the Gullfaks A platform where the well test is was done, currently provides a production of 7,500b/d. Preliminary calculations indicate 40-150MMboe of recoverable reserves. Statoil (70%) operates the field with partner Petoro (30%).
