The new NORM (naturally occurring radioactive material) monitor, added to Tracerco’s range of radiation monitors at ONS, was specifically developed to meet the requirements of the oil & gas industry in detecting and quantifying naturally occurring radioactive isotopes.

Designated the NORM Monitor-IS, the robust and intrinsically safe portable unit can also measure contamination levels. Its dual probe option is said to optimise monitoring capability for all types of NORM including Radium and Lead-210 based scales.
