Eidesvik Offshore Bags CGG Charter

Norway's Eidesvik Offshore said that a company in the group has entered into an agreement with a CGG subsidiary for a new contract for the source vessel Veritas Viking.

The contract is 5 months firm with further options and will commence ultimo November 2018. CGG is a French-based geophysical services company providing  geological, geophysical and reservoir capabilities to customers primarily from the global oil and gas industry.

"Eidesvik has entered into a partnership with Vestland Management for the source scope of work on this contract and with these two companies joining forces I am very confident that we will deliver top services to our client " says CEO Jan Fredrik Meling.

The contract is made at current market terms.

Eidesvik Offshore is a supply, subsea, seismic and cable-laying shipping company. The fleet consists of ten supply ships, both platform supply vessels and anchor handling tug supply vessels, five subsea vessels, five seismic vessels and one cable-laying ship.
