Chorley, UK based high pressure engineering company KW Designed Solutions said it has recently restructured, launching a new company KW Pressure Testing and introducing the KW Group to manage both firms, as part of a complete rebrand.

A new state-of-the-art, specially constructed, in-house pressure testing facility is presently under development and due to open this coming Autumn. It will offer hyperbaric, hydrostatic, gas, submerged gas, environmental, full qualification, type approval and factory acceptance testing. Utilizing fully automated pressure and temperature control systems, all tests will be carried out under the watch of an  expert team and under strict safety regulations.

Other new additions include the creation of an internal controls division, developed to provide the specification and design of automated systems and process control equipment.

The changes implemented have proven successful thus far, the company said, adding it is seeing a record financial year, with a turnover increased fivefold in FY2018/19 and many new global contracts won.

Instability in the oil and gas market spurred the company to review its structure, processes and to explore new ventures; seeing expansion into both new and existing markets in North and South America, Canada, Norway, collaboration with a partner company in France, the appointment of key personnel, a move to a new 8,000-square-foot premises and plans to aid future growth.

KW Designed Solutions, has been designing, manufacturing and installing special purpose pressure testing vessels, pressure testing equipment and associated pressure control systems, to the oil and gas, subsea, material science, universities and nuclear markets since 2004.

The specialist bespoke products enable companies to develop, approval test and production test their equipment and materials, by accurately simulating extreme subsea/deepwater conditions. This proves suitability for use in high pressure environments and high/low temperature operation; ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, product lifespan and compliance to industry standards.

Mark Henderson, Commercial Director, said, “We have spent a great deal of time ensuring that our new branding reflects the changing structure of the company, the expertise, innovation and professionalism of our team and helps to further strengthen our name in the market. We hope it will help to aid our ambitious objective for the future; to be seen as the global leaders in high pressure engineered solutions.”
