Ziton Charters New O&M Vessel

Published

Danish company Ziton has added Vroon jack-up MPI Enterprise to its fleet under a bareboat charter agreement.

The vessel has been chartered on a bareboat agreement with Vroon as of 28 May 2019 until 31 March 2021. Ziton will then have the option to acquire the vessel.

This fleet expansion is part of Ziton’s strategy to meet changing market dynamics, in which offshore wind turbines with capacities of 7‐10 MW are increasingly commonplace.

Enterprise will be available to our customers under existing framework agreements. It will also be deployed within our turnkey solutions for major component replacements and blade campaigns.

“We are very happy to see Enterprise join our fleet,” says Ziton CEO Thorsten Jalk. “We are continually developing our business in order to remain a true strategic partner to our customers, and this vessel addition is another important leg of the journey.”

“It will strengthen our ability to service all current wind turbine models at wind farms around Europe in varying conditions, including seabed soil, sea levels, ports and diverse operating settings,” he continues.

Enterprise will be introduced into Ziton’s current framework agreements and other customers in general over the coming months.
