Offshore engineering firm Aquaterra Energy has opened its first engineering office and warehouse facility in Perth, Australia following recent regional contract wins.

Located on Murray Street, Perth, Aquaterra Energy’s new office in Australia’s oil and gas hub comes as the company continues to expand its presence in the Australasia region. The office will support regional oil and gas projects to increase efficiencies and reduce costs through its specialist riser analysis and systems, well initiation engineering and full field development solutions. The premises will initially focus on riser analysis and system engineering, with a view to future local growth.

James Larnder, Managing Director at Aquaterra Energy, said, “We’ve made significant progress in the Australasia region and this office launch cements our commitment to current and future projects in the region. As a company, we’ve never stood still and continually strive to grow our business and develop and deliver the early drilling services our clients need for success.”

The company already has strong local links through its in-region partner, R&D Solutions. By establishing its own presence, Aquaterra Energy will improve client service and solidify local supply chain partnerships. By utilizing warehouse space, it enables them to offer their Aquaterra Express rental equipment service in time zone and reduce delivery time for future orders.

The office will open at end of May 2019 and provide the full Aquaterra Energy product and service offering, which includes the company’s modular platform, Sea Swift, Subsea and Surface Riser Systems, Riser and Conductor Analysis and its rental tools and equipment service, Aquaterra Express.
