Compact Degassers

The latest generation of Liqui-Cel membrane contactors on show at OTC are claimed capable of deoxygenating injection water with less weight and a smaller footprint than conventional deaeration technologies, such as vacuum towers. The compact, high pressure degassers, targeting offshore applications such as seawater injection, also maintain positive pressure after degassing and do not require booster pumps, helping to further reduce capex. The 8 x 40 and 8 x 80 (pictured) contactors are ASME code-rated to 300psi and can remove oxygen down to 10ppb without the use of chemical scavengers.
