Borets names North America HSE manager

Borets has appointed David Langley as North American HSE manager.

Based at Borets’ US corporate office in Houston, Langley will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs and policies that align with the company’s corporate standards for health, safety and environmental compliance.

“With more than 15 years of occupational health and safety management experience under his belt, Borets is pleased to welcome David to our team,” said Obren Lekic, VP business development of Borets. “David provides an excellent source of HSE knowledge and brings with him years of industry experience that will allow him to support and guide our North American team as they work to coordinate and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure all Borets’ worksites are HSE-compliant.”

Langley earned a Master of Science degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in organizational management from Bethel University in Tennessee. He is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Langley has received accreditation as a Certified Safety Professional by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist from NFPA.
