Oilfield Helping Hands lends assistance to Hurricane Harvey victims

Oilfield Helping Hands (OHH), a nonprofit charitable organization comprised of volunteers devoted to providing assistance to oilfield workers in financial crisis, has set funds aside for recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

OHH board members are committed to quickly reviewing and processing funding requests from qualified applicants to assist oilfield families in the Houston and surrounding areas as they rebuild their homes and lives.

Requirements for eligibility are that the applicant must work for one of OHH’s corporate members or live and/or work within one of the areas covered by an OHH Chapter; applicant must have a minimum of five years’ work experience in the E&P sector of the energy industry and at least 75% of their income must have been derived from that employment; applicant must be in a crisis situation by no fault of their own. On October 13, the OHH Houston Chapter is hosting its annual Fall Sporting Clays Tournament, to support its ongoing mission of fundraising for oilfield families in crisis. The OHH Fall Sporting Clays attracts recreational shooters, national champions, individuals and corporate teams and will be held at the Westside Sporting Grounds, 10120 Pattison, Katy, TX 77449.
