Dubai-headquartered offshore services provider Telford Offshore said it has been awarded a charter party from Indonesian contractor Timas Suplindo for its DP3 multipurpose accommodation and offshore construction vessel Telford 25.

The three-month contract, with options to extend, will see Telford 25 support a range of services for the TSB Phase 2 Development offshore Indonesia.

“Over the course of this project the T25 will demonstrate her versatility by supporting multiple activities such as flexible pipelay, saturation diving, lifting, subsea construction and installation services,” said Duncan MacPherson, Telford Offshore Chief Operating Officer.

The vessel, which is currently under planned dry-dock in Indonesia, will also be fit-out with saturation dive spread for subsea installation and tie-in work, Telford said.

Mobilization in Batam, Indonesia is scheduled to begin in late November in preparation for the offshore installation of subsea structures, flexible pipes, umbilicals and spoolpieces.

The 2009-built Telford 25 (formerly Jacson 25) is one of four DP3 multi-purpose offshore construction vessels acquired by Telford following the liquidation of Sea Trucks Group. It is equipped with an 800t heave compensated main crane and 1,500m2 of unobstructed deck space and can accommodate up to 355 personnel.
