Total Extends Havila PSV Contract

Denmark's petroleum giant Total E&P Danmark has extended the charter contract for the platform supply vessel (PSV) Havila Herøy for a period of 9 months with 3 optional periods each of one month.

The Norwegian provider of supply services to offshore companies said in a press note that the contract is in direct continuation of the existing firm period and will keep the vessel working for total until September 2020.

Havila Herøy has been working for Total E&P Danmark (former Mærsk Olie & Gas) since she was delivered to the company early December 2009, it said.

Havila Shipping operates 22 vessels; platform supply vessel, anchor handling tug supply vessel, rescue- and recovery vessel and subsea construction vessel. The company has a newbuilding program of 5 vessels.
