Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Helix Energy Solutions Group has introduced its newly built semisubmersible well intervention vessel, the Q7000.

The Q7000 can perform through-riser well intervention and decommissioning operations in water depths ranging from 85 meters to 3,000 meters, utilizing the Helix-designed Intervention Riser System (IRS) which features a High-Angle disconnect system.

Helix announced in August that the Q7000 has been lined up for a subsea workover and integrated well intervention services with a client offshore Nigeria.
