Marine seismic surveyor PGS announced it has selected Google as its preferred cloud provider.
By harnessing Google’s cloud-based technologies and incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities into workflows, PGS will increase flexibility, scalability and deliver more reliable data faster to customers, the company said.

That’s why we have chosen Google Cloud Platform as it’s one of the largest networks in the world, and one of the fastest,” says PGS President and CEO Rune Olav Pedersen. “This move marks a milestone in our digital roadmap. Data workflows, commercial models for MultiClient and collaboration with customers will ultimately benefit, and so will our operational efficiency.”
