OKEA announced it has won a tender from fellow oil producer Neptune Energy for supply to drilling operations on the Fenja field (formerly Pil & Bue) at Haltenbanken, offshore Norway.

The 89-meter platform supply vessel (PSV) Siem Pride will supply Seadrill semi-submersible rig West Phoenix at the Neptune-operated Fenja field four to five times per week, in addition to supply for the OKEA-operated Draugen twice per week.

"Through this contract, sharing economy and efficient utilization of resources for the benefit of both parties will be demonstrated in practice," OKEA said in a press release.

The contract, awarded by Neptune Energy Norway, has a fixed duration of 12 months, plus four three-month options – up to two years in total. OKEA estimates startup will take place in mid-January 2020.

The company did not reveal the contract value.

Fenja, which is Neptune's first operated field development in Norway, will be a tieback to Njord-A.

The development combines two subsea templates with six wells. Three of these will be oil producers, two water injectors and one a gas injector. The gas injector will be converted to a gas producer towards the end of field life.

The field discovery is estimated to contain 97 mmboe 2P reserves.
