Aberdeen-based Nucore Group said it has established a new division that will offer a range of fire and blast door installation, maintenance services.

In line with the expansion, the group has appointed Brian Wallace as Offshore Door Services Manager.

The new division will complement Oteac's established offshore fire and safety offering and HVAC & Refrigeration's range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment used in offshore applications. Mark Fraser, Nucore Group CEO, said, "Brian's skills will enable the group to provide customers with specialized technical support for fire and blast doors, blast walls and water-tight doors and hatches. Where safety is paramount, regular maintenance of fire and blast doors is critical for our clients.

Fraser continued, "This new service offering is a great fit for Nucore Group, enhancing both the Oteac and HVAC&R services divisions. Our strategy is to create a safety critical maintenance offering that aligns with our customer’s requirements, and helps drive supply chain efficiency for them."
